Kit was commissioned to build some moveable furniture on casters for Leeds Industrial Museum in summer 2026.

La Bassa Mar is A seminar and retreat space for trans, inter, non-binary, and queer people, centering those impacted by racism, Catalunya.

In mid summer Kit travelled to La Bassa Mar to volunteer on construction carpentry with many other LGBTQIA volunteers

Kit was approached by Skint to create a poster focusing on KINGS for their summer Pride event.

Painted and photographic portraits of people in ornate historical and theatrical costumes overlap in a digital collage poster. Blue and white dominate the picture, with a silouette of a blue crown containing the title text and information.

The surround contains animals, buildings, and more that have a special meaning to their lives. Heavily inspired by William Morris political pamphlets and illustrations.

'Rituals' features 20 UK based artists, each presenting small scale work inspired by rituals, customs and folklore, achieved through various artistic disciplines and styles. Both exhibitions celebrate the depth of creative talent the UK art scene has to offer.

Featuring live performances from poet and writer Maz Hedgehog, songwriter and musician Maddie Morris and writer and playwright Tommi Bryson. With BSL for all performances. 

Artist Kit George will be facilitating a creative making activity, inspired by themes from the zine.”

October onwards, Kit will be shadowing Maddie Morris in workshops, for the Andro & Eve project based in south Yorkshire

‘DISrupt is a collective of disabled artists in Leeds who are working for change.’

Kit was asked to create 8 box frames for Blind / blind artists to create artworks inside, which will be displayed in Leeds Art Gallery. Visitors will be able to touch and feel the art inside the frame to experience it like the artist intended.

In the run up to Alternative Pride Leeds, Kit was asked to create a ramp to help mobility aid users get over the curb that exists around the grassy area in the centre of the park.

In July 2025, Kit completed the Carpentry & Joinery for construction course at Leeds College of Building, North street campus.
