‘DISrupt is a collective of disabled artists in Leeds who are working for change.’

Kit was asked to create 8 box frames for Blind / blind artists to create artworks inside, which will be displayed in Leeds Art Gallery. Visitors will be able to touch and feel the art inside the frame to experience it like the artist intended.

In the run up to Alternative Pride Leeds, Kit was asked to create a ramp to help mobility aid users get over the curb that exists around the grassy area in the centre of the park.

In July 2025, Kit completed the Carpentry & Joinery for construction course at Leeds College of Building, North street campus.

Kit had the pleasure of being the Access Consultant for Run of The Mill History events.

Luna Morgana & Kit George Art hosted a workshop for disabled queer people at Leeds Industrial Museum on the topic of textile mills and drag kings.

Kit George organised and curated this exhibition along with Nicky Murmann.

For this project we worked closely with historian Kit Heyam and artists and researchers Luna Morgana & Kit George, and Leeds' local trans community to re-examine a sword owned by the 18th-century spy and diplomat, la Chevalière d’Éon.
